A little more room for creativity.

Oh Wednesday started small.

When we first opened our doors on Jalan Sultan, the idea was simple: to create a permanent space where independent creative work could be discovered beyond markets, pop-ups and occasional events.

Since then, the store has gradually grown alongside the creative community around us.

In 2026, Oh Wednesday expanded into a second unit next door, giving us a little more room to bring together more creators, more ideas and a wider mix of work.

Growing without becoming everything

More space does not mean filling every corner.

As Oh Wednesday grows, we still want the store to feel curated rather than crowded with everything we can find. The aim remains the same: to bring together work with originality, personality and a creative voice of its own.

Today, our shelves bring together illustration, handmade objects, accessories, character goods, designer toys and original IP from a growing community of creators from Malaysia and beyond.

The larger space also gives us more flexibility for small pop-ups, workshops and creative activities — allowing the store to change from time to time while remaining recognisably Oh Wednesday.

Still a small independent store

We are growing, but we are still a small independent business.

That matters to us.

It means we can remain curious, make decisions personally, discover work we genuinely like and continue learning directly from the people who walk into the store.

At the same time, we are beginning to explore what Oh Wednesday can become beyond retail — connecting creators with collaborations, businesses and other creative opportunities.

The store remains our starting point: a real place where creative work meets real people every day.

And for now, we’re happy to have a little more room for what comes next.
